Hi I'm being charged £2.29  A DAY!!!... for EU roaming , but I never asked for this and I can't remove it,  why is this please?

For any pay-monthly plan taken out since July 2021, EU roaming is subject to one of two charges

1: A daily £2.29 charge any day you use any of your UK allowances in the EU. This includes sending any text messages, making or receiving any voice calls or using mobile data.

2: A monthly charge of (currently) £25 for the Roam Abroad pass which provides the same end result.

To avoid incurring this charge, you cannot use any of your UK allowances on any EU-based networks. You may connect to a foreign network without charge and receive text messages FOC. Any calls you make or receive, any SMS you send or mobile data you use, will trigger the charge unless you have a Roam Abroad pass active.

@Kalis  If you’re not roaming in the EU you’re not being charged.   It’s a free add on that shows on your account that if you use has a daily charge of £2.29 if you don’t purchase the roam further add on.
