Existing Friends and family discount

Hello,

I'm have an existing 30% off friends and family on my current sim only plan and want to upgrade. 

At checkout, the discount changes to 50% off when I select a eligible plan - Sim only Unlimited Full Works (Discount Eligible Plan).  
My question is, if I upgrade online, will my friends and family discount apply and continue.  I have seen many threads, where after the online order is submitted, the discount gets removed. 
 
I had this issue last time I upgraded in 2019. It took long time to sort out and get the discount re-applied.

@knight  providing you’re still eligible for the friends and family  discounts then it will remain it’s changed to a 50% discount is because the discount is now only applied to the Airtime part of the contract as this is a flex pay contract and you do not get any discount on the device.  Should you wish to have a traditional style contract you will need to call customer support and then this will only be a 30% discount. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
