Hi! My contact ends in a couple of weeks and I'm going to port my number out.
I have been told that if I do it before my contract end date an early termination fee will apply, but will that just level itself out with my last bill that covers the billing period beyond the end date (which I assume will be refunded if the contract ends early), or is that in addition to my most recent bill?
Thanks!

It will effectively level itself out. It you actually port out before your min term, you'll get a rebate from your last bill for the time after you left EE plus an exit fee of about 4% less than the time to your min term. So you should have a net gain as the former will be more than the latter.
Best to give the PAC to new provider in last few days of your contract term so you have little or no overlap.

Hi @Stretch0890
Thanks for coming back here.
If you are looking to cancel your contract whilst you are within your existing minimum term, a cancellation charge will apply. Please see the Calculate Remaining Contract Charges page for full details.
Our Thinking of Leaving EE Help page has details on what happens if you leave and what will show on the final bill.
If you would like to discuss the cancellation charge, please call us on 150 and the team will be happy to help.
Leanne.
