Early upgrade

Hi. So i currently have the s22 ( 89pm )and am able to upgrade for £100 plus trade in of the s22. My question is the phone am after is £ 100 pm... so does that mean my dd just increases by the difference between plans ?

Sorry if sounds stupid .... newbie lol
