EE state that contracts made before July 7th 2021 won't get charged for data roaming while abroad. My EE contract started July 16th 2020, in theory I shouldn't get charged but it was a 24 month contract and that time is over, although can still use phone. My question is, Will I get charged for using data roaming while abroad? (£2 a day)

You won't be charged for roaming in the EU. You do get charged for roaming outside the EU.

Altho. the min. contract term of your contract has expired your contract hasn't ended & therefore the same terms about roaming apply unchanged.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

So I wont get charged, thanks for the help.

Hi

One of my contracts started on april 2021, according EE all contracts starting before 7th July 2021 were keeping the roaming allowances which I had been using without issue, however in the trip I am now my calls/text have been blocked, except the internet/data.

I contacted 150 and the customer assistant said “ I didn’t have roaming” in one of my numbers ending xxx97. Checking my online account, apps it states that is includes. I texted “Al” to 150 and states that is included.

can anyone from EE help me please

@Heniu   Have you restarted the device since you got there ?   Have you tried a manual network search?   You don’t say where you are so does your allowance cover you in this location?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Yes, I am in the EU and roaming “in theory” is included, I have restarted my phone endless times and nothing.

EE customer advisor on the phone told me that calls/texts are blocked when my account show is included

Is it just outbound calls and texts that don't work @Heniu?
