Device Credit Agreement and Porting My Mobile Number

Hi, I need clarification regarding my mobile plan and my Device Credit Agreement.

My minimum airtime contract ended around six months ago and my mobile plan is now on a monthly rolling basis. I would now like to port my number to Vodafone.

I have been told that if I leave EE, I must immediately pay the full outstanding balance of my iPhone 15 Pro. However, my signed Device Credit Agreement says in Section 21:

“Leaving us after your plan minimum term – your device credit agreement will continue until it comes to an end.”

I am NOT asking to cancel or settle my Device Credit Agreement. I only want to port my mobile number to Vodafone and continue paying the existing monthly instalments for the iPhone until the agreement ends.

Can you please confirm that I can do this without the remaining device balance becoming immediately payable?

If you believe the full balance must be paid, please tell me exactly which clause of my signed agreement allows EE to require this after my airtime minimum term has already ended.

@patbarou : You may port your no. away thus ending your airtime plan whilst still keeping your FlexPay Device Credit Agreement as is which you will repay as normally until it is paid off.

@patbarou  Who told you that rubbish?  As long as the airtime contract has been fulfilled you can port away and continue with the device contract for the remainder of that contract term.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 07953 966 150 from any other phone.
