Default on my credit?

Hi

I am on payment plan for 9 months which means i will be paying lest the original amount. Can this put a default marker on my credit? thank you

It can affect your credit score and make it difficult to gain credit in the future.

does repayment plan cause default on credit file? I asked we customer device but they didn’t answer properly so asking here.

Hi @Sloonat Thanks for getting in touch with us here at the Community.

Before your arrangement was set up your credit file would have shown that you were in arrears. Once your arrangement is set up, we’ll record it on your credit file. After you’ve finished paying for your arrangement, your credit file will no longer show that you’re on an arrangement or in arrears.
