I am thinking of leaving EE before the 14 days contract window ends because the contract is not as exciting. I found the device to be useful for me. Can I cancel the new contract and pay fully for the device?

Hi @hello56
It's a mobile contract so I'm unsure what you would find exciting.
To answer your question, no if you cancel the tariff it includes the handset. You can pay off the contract and then you can keep the handset.
To cancel call EE CS on 150.
Thanks

Did you order this device by phone or online?
If so, when you cancel within the statutory 14-day cooling off period (if that's what you mean by "14 days contract window"?) you must return the device. If you ordered in-store you have no such "change-of-mind" right of return.

@hello56 Can you call and receive calls ? Text and receive texts ? Use data ?
if the answer is yes to all the above how’s that not exciting it’s doing everything you expected it to do and everything that contract has outlined within it .
Was you expecting more ? If so like what ?

I suspect the OP has an EE mobile router. They're not very exciting when compared to a real router 😉 .
