Clarification on SIM only upgrade

pheenan10
Visitor

I wasn’t interested in upgrading my device yet, so I opted for a SIM only deal.
I’ve been told that this new contract has started, but haven’t heard anything about a new SIM card.
Will I receive a new card or has my new contract simply transferred over to my current one?

You shouldn't need a new SIM. Your new plan will be put on your existing SIM.

@pheenan10  Your sim is just for your number so you can access the cellular network and be identified when you use your tariff allowance.  Your EE account has the tariff information on it and the two are linked.      An account change or an upgrade even to a sim only is just a change of account information and the sim still works as before.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
