So I recently upgraded my plan to a sim only plan my old plan ended the 29th June and my new sim only took over so why was I then charged 70 pound for my old plan for July when my new sim only start on the 29th of June and my bill is paid in advance phoned ee spoke to 4 separate people who all said it’s because the bill was generated before the plan changed over, so my next question will I get the money back as 70 pound is a lot to be down when my new plan is 13 pound anyone know if it will get given back next month because surely I should pay for something I no longer have

thanks all.

Hi @Lauraavaient,

The team you spoke to were correct in saying that any overpayment will be credit on your next bill.

It won't show in your online account until that bill is generated.

Hope this helps.

@Lauraavaient  It takes 7-10 days to be refunded.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Indeed so. Any overpayment on your account will be held back and used as credit towards your following bills.

If you'd prefer to request a manual refund, you can do so - and this will normally be sent out by cheque.

It’s not showing anything on my account though and when I speak to someone they can’t say wether I will get it back which is what’s worrying me as again don’t want to pay for something I haven’t got anymore

Hi @Lauraavaient

Has the plan now changed in your EE account?

Have our mobile guides opened a ticket to get this looked into for you?

Leanne 🙂

Hi yes the plan changed on the day it was suppose to but was changed my old plan and I phoned them and was basically told it’s because my bill was produced before hand fine so I asked if I would get the money back and that’s when no one could tell me just said wait until my next bill but I also think I deserve to know before hand and they said if it doesn’t credit on my next one to ring then which I think is unfair they opened a complaint and I had a text saying was closed after
