Changing a corporate account to a personal account

Micaela9

I opened an account last year with EE who assumed I wanted a corporate account. Although I work for the NHS this account was for my personal phone. Ee have told me that I cannot swap it to a personal account and that I have to wait my contract out before I can do that. Meanwhile I am paying vat which I can’t claim back as I’m not a business nor a corporation. I can’t seem to find a human to speak to and right now I just want to leave as the price is too high for my budget.
any help would be much appreciated.

You'll still pay VAT with a personal contract. It's just bundled into the prices. We all pay VAT on purchases.

Have you called EE and spoke to someone? If you have a small business account they can complete a change of ownership for you and move your phone to a personal account in your name l, although the difference would be VAT won't be shown on your bill, however it will still be included.
