Hello,
I recently moved to Japan and was hoping to change my contract to PAYG. My contract timed out last year, but I'm still paying for it, so there isn't any outstanding charges that I know of, but I obviously can't go into store, and due to costs and time zones I can't sort it out over the phone.
Is there any other way I can update my plan? Via MyEE online, it just says the options are unavailable, even though it says there are no remaining charges etc.
Thank you!

You can switch it to PAYG by calling CS & giving 30 days notice but it won't do you much good.
If you switch to PAYG while abroad you won't be able to use it until you return to UK. EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply. I wasn't planning to use it until I returned home next year, it was just way to reduce my contract expense as I am currently paying for a Japanese contract as well.
I can't make calls to the UK currently though. Is there any other way I can change? Or cancel entirely?

Hi @georgia_peaches.
Sorry, the only way to change over to pay as you go would be to give us a call and then activate it in the UK.
You'll be able to do this as soon as you're back in the UK.
Sorry we couldn't be more help.
Jon

Thank you! In that case, is there a way I can cancel my plan instead from abroad?
