Change of EE plan

Claireuf

I recently changed my EE plan to a cheaper option but I have been emailed which includes my new number. I am confused. I asked the rep via chat if all my details remained the same and she said yes. Why do I have a new number and can I keep the old one?

Hi @Claireuf

It does sound like it may be another contract with a new number.

If you look in the EE app or by logging in through the website and see two numbers showing, I'd recommend giving our customer service guides a call.

They'll be able to bring up your account and check to see what has happened.

@Claireuf : Sounds like you took out a new contract rather than upgrading your existing contract. That way you get to keep your no. Likely you have 2 contracts running at the same time.
