Cancelling contract

Good evening.

My contact is up on the 25th September and it can't come soon enough, finally get to leave the money grabbing **bleep**holes and go elsewhere.  Now I know you need to give 30 days notice, so if I give my notice on the 25th August will I only have to pay my normal bill at the end or will they inevitably add more charges and bill me more. Technically I'll be leaving on the last day of my contract so I should only have to pay my normal monthly amount, but seeing as EE love to up bills drastically and love to over charge I'm guessing they're going to add some made up fee just to get more money out of me. Which I will not be paying, I've paid enough to their greed and I'm not being taken the **bleep** out of anymore.

A no. of your assumptions are incorrect:

  1. You've already paid up to 23/08 in your last bill.
  2. Anyway when you terminate early as you are now, the Early Termination Charge, which the quoted £79.94 is, is instead of all future monthly bills.
  3. So you will end up paying £79.94 + £12.18 = £92.12 !

Cost of cancelling or upgrading early will be Monthly Fee (£48.14) x Months Remaining (1 month 22 days), pro-rata to the nearest whole day, of contract term - 4% = £48.14 x 1  22/30 x .96 = £80.10 About right!
