Cancelled contract yet still getting billed

I cancelled my plan in March due to going travelling. Spoke with customer services, received wonderful support, plan was cancelled. No further bills to pay, no bills in April. Happy days. Come May, I got billed on the 5th, checked my scheduled payments and find I have 2 this month with EE! Double checked the app to see if they’ve reactivated my sim but this is not the case. Obviously have cancelled the standing orders, but due to EE having no off the phone customer service I can not contact them to get a refund or to ensure this won’t happen again. I can wait until I am back from traveling but not sure how much EE charges non EE networks. The whole set up seems like a money grabbing scheme and I can not believe they can still charge for a service that they’re not providing.

@prettypeevedoff    Just to check was you still within your contract term ?    If so did you pay off the remaining term of that contract?
