When signing up to your 24-month mobile contract recently, the deciding factors were the price of the plan itself, as well as the price of the addons advertised as benefitting EE users. Your recent Roaming Pass price announcement, increasing the price from £15 to £25 per month from October is not only not in line with the Consumer Price Index, but is also a price increase outside of your annual price increase in March.
As such, please confirm EE customers can cancel their contracts without incurring penalties.

Sure. So can the seller raise the price of the tomatoes? y/n.

@gusSylvaticus If it’s stated within the contract that a price increase could happen.
You haven’t agreed to purchase an add on with in your EE contract for a set fee for the duration of that contract or that a price increase could happen for that add on.
You’re confused about what’s in a contract agreement and changes to that agreement and what’s not mentioned in a contract agreement. You didn’t agree to purchase any add ons in your contract with EE for any price.

OK. And what are ofcom's rules about what has to happen when ee makes a price rise permitted by the contract?
I also haven't agreed to buy any tomatoes in the beans and tomatoes contract. That doesn't stop me having a right under the contract to buy tomatoes at the agreed price.
I hesitate to call you a shill, but if you don't work for ee you are doing a great job for them in your spare time. I despair of getting you to understand the concept of an option, and I am off to lunch.

@gusSylvaticus If it’s a change of the contract T&Cs you have to be informed 30 days prior.
When did you take out this contract as I’ll happily post the contract T&Cs that you agreed to upon taking out this contract.
Do you agree that a change to the contract T&Cs without informing you is violation of those contract terms and conditions ? Of cause you do.
So I’ll ask you please state when you took out the contract so I can post the contract T&Cs for you to read. A violation of a contract has to break the T&Cs of that agreement.

Thank you. Leanne.
I was just about to cancel my contract with EE and move to another Mobile provider. I looked at the 'Inclusive Extra' plans. You are correct, there are some very good offers if you go to the EE new plans/ upgrade/ shopping, page which I accepted and now I shall stay with EE for 24 months.
I am very Dyslexic, and your advice has been helpful.

Yes indeed, this is the problem that I originally had.
I know that I had a Roam Abroad Pass on my contract and somewhere along the line it simply vanished and disappeared without notice.
I went abroad in the belief that I was covered by the roam abroad pass only to find out on my 2 week return that the Roam Abroad Pass was not on my account and there was no record by EE of it ever being there.
I know that I was not mistaken between the £2.29 per day roaming and the Roam Pass, yet I was made to feel like I was being dishonest. I have anxiety and this made it worse, because there was no way yo prove that it was originally a Roam Abroad Pass.
The problem has since been resolved by EE, who have a wonderful and understanding customer service team, I however have learnt to screen shot my contract details.

Rely on data in the US and on trips a couple time a year. last time was £40 for the 4 of us - now £100.
Will be looking for alternatives as soon as we get back from the next one in Nov.

I totally agree with your comments about the unending ability of EE in recent yrs to ‘hang customers out to dry’ with regards the lrecent Yr on Yr increases in the cost of Roaming Passes, from, since I Joined them on the suggestion of BT Mobile , less than two yrs ago , prices going up from £10 to £15 and now to £25!, I consider it totally unfair and as you say, a complete Rip Off,.
They can come up with all the excuses they want to, regarding the why’s and wherefore here, but the bottom line is , ‘The Best Mobile Service Provider in the UK’. has seen another opportunity to cash in on customers loyalty and when you think you are paying your monthly contract fees as well, it’s a disgrace and I for one, when my contract ends will be looking for fresher fields and voting with my feet. It’s not a level playing field and enough is enough .

I’ve now received my November bill. I had run the comparison calculator on web site and it advised (on October 12) to take the £15 Roaming add on for my break specifically saying this was the cheaper option. No mention of charge increase at that stage.
My bill on November 2 showed I had been charged the £25 rate pro rata for part of the period.
I had a long online conversation during which my complaint was escalated twice.
After almost two hours they have agreed to refund the difference. How much simpler would it have been to agree to refund £10 difference immediately instead of wasting everyone’s time?
My complaint about them breaching terms and conditions continues.
To those who have said EE can structure contract so that they can change what they want when they want, this would amount to an onerous contract term which would unbalance the contract in favour of the supplier. This would breach Consumer Contract Regulations.

@Tony319 : You should have been charged £15 pro rata for that 1st part month as it didn't go up to £25 until 18th Oct. & you started it on the 12th.
