I’m a month out from my contract finishing and would like to automatically roll onto a new contract deal at the finish of my current one. Can I schedule or automatically take up the new deal when the old one finishes? I’ve already seen the deal I’d like to move to.
I’ve been told I need to phone up and make the change exactly 30 days before the end of my contract but I’m going to be away and can’t guarantee I’ll be able to make the phone call. It’d be so much easier to be able to schedule the change.
Is this possible?

Yes, it's called an upgrade. You can upgrade your plan any time from 45 days before end of min. term. If you're upgrading from SIM-Only plan it'll take place more or less immediately or from a handset plan at the end of min. term. You can order your upgrade thro' your EE a/c or by calling CS.
