I have seen a couple of posts previously about charges from Boku, and how they’re charged on your EE bill.
I saw one post about how someone managed to get a full refund from Boku, I’d like to know how this was doable, and if anyone else has had success with this. We have a £179 bill to pay.
It’s showing as Sony charges, which can only be the PlayStation, but we’ve not bought £179 worth of things on there.
I’ve looked on Boku’s website, and it wants a phone number in order to process a request, which I obviously don’t want to give. But they have no contact number or email to raise queries.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @SimonInnis
Welcome to the Community.
You're doing the right thing by speaking with the third party that has charged you directly, as I know you'll be eager to get this resolved.
Have you looked at our help page 👉 Third Party Phone Bill Charges? You should be able to enter the reference number shown on your bill description, which will return the most up to date contact details for further support.
The third party will ask for your mobile number, as this is how they're able to review what charges you've received.

Hi @Kjack120.
Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community 😊
Usually when a third party company issues a refund back to your EE account, this will be applied directly as credit that will then show as a deduction on your next bill.
Depending on how much this was though, it could roll over and go towards future months, or if the credit is still pending you can also request it back as a refund instead.
We don't have access to your account to check this directly here, but if you reach out to our customer care team, they'll be able to say for sure what has happened with the credit, and review your options.
