I have been billed for calls to a number that I did not make. 100% I did not make them. I was on call to customer services for 1 hour trying to sort this out. It felt like they thought that I was lying but I was telling the truth and they did not listen. Did EE make the call to get more money out of me. Can they prove it?

I have been charged over £170 for making calls to the above number that I did not make. I explained this to customer services and they got onto their tech team, after an hour hanging on the phone I was told that I made these calls and I have to pay for them. Seriously and truthfully I did not make these calls. EE are saying that I m lying. Has anyone else had this problem? I am seriously thinkng of leaving EE after 18 years of being a loyal customer.

EE do have the means to identify which specific SIM & device combination were used for any individual call.

Hi @ZZR14
I'm sorry to hear about your experience when you spoke to our customer service team, I can imagine it's worrying when you've received a large charge for calls that you didn't make.
We'd need our billing team to get this investigated for you, but if you're unhappy with their outcome, you can make a complaint with the advisor that you're speaking to, or you can complain via our complaints link.

Hi, I have just put in Google search engine "EE charging people for calls they did not make"
Apparently I am not alone, EE have dun this many times, look for yourself. Surely they should look into these cases. What about if the number call your phone, you do not answer the call but they start charging you when your phone starts ringing? My phone was in my rucksack as I was riding my motorcycle at the time of the call, so how could I of made them. All 10 of them ? I smell a rat EE

You could probably find Google searches, especially the bot ones, that support any hypothesis you're looking to prove.
Incoming calls are only charged when roaming abroad.

There are also some similar cases on the EE chat forums if you look.
