I have been phoned more than 15 times by a mobile number offering to reduce my monthly payment. It appears to be an Indian call centre, it is very complicated with multiple calls, code numbers etc and I'm worried it's a scam so terminated the call but they have been continuing to call more than ten times. I wonder if anyone from EE could tell me if it's genuine

Sounds like it!
It only becomes a scam when you start answering their Qs,

It doesn't sound at all like an EE outbound call, but what was the number you received the calls from?

Same here, exactly as you’ve described. Something about reducing the bill and even sending me a WhatsApp inviting me to the community. It feels off though. And their offer is sending me a new SIM so they need my address apparently. They did have my previous address. They’ve called me about 10 times. I put the phone down on last time.
