Did you mean:

Bill for handset this month - nearly £1000

Hi,

I was alarmed to see my bill this month is over £900. I pay around £50 each month all in. Looking at the breakdown of said bill over £800 is for my handset in one full payment - surely this isn't right? I obviously cannot afford to pay this and cannot use my phone now.

Many thanks for replying. I appreciate you cannot access my account but could you tell me if billing for the handset as a whole one month is a "thing"? The contract is already about six months old, I usually pay between £50-£60 per month all in.

Sorry for the confusion @JenKelly, I didn't realise this was part way into your contract.

Some customers chose to pay a lump sum at the start of their contract in order to have lower monthly payments. This would have been agreed when you upgraded so shouldn't be a surprise and certainly wouldn't be added 6 months in, so that wouldn't explain this charge.

Lesley

Ok I shall call billing - I gather the system was down when I tried earlier.

Many thanks
