Anyone know why EE are charging to text reply READY to BT61998 for changeover to Digital Voice. Mobile contract was with BT but they moved me to EE. They are all the same company aren't they? So why additional charges to respond to BT text?

Hi @Amethyst1966

Welcome to the community.

That number should be free of charge from an EE pay monthly mobile. Are you on contract or pay as you go? Where did you see the charge?

I have problems with my BT / EE broadband, but you can't message 61998 at all from my Vodafone, even though I don't have premium blocked and can message any other premium number.

Hi @SkaterSimon

Thanks for coming here.

Is your broadband with BT or with EE?

66033 is the number for EE and 61998 is the number for BT.

Katie

My broadband is with BT, but they don't seem to want to talk to me about my problem. Since The BT - EE merge the customer service has dropped from bad to diabolical hence trying to get an answer from anyone from either company.

Thanks for confirming @SkaterSimon

What happens when you text HELP to 61998?

Katie

I just get "not sent" but I don't have premium numbers blocked and can reply or message to any of them except this one.

Hi @SkaterSimon

I am not sure what could be causing this, your network provider will be able to look into this for you.
