BT sim only transfered to 24months contract with EE

I have logged into my EE account which we have now since transfering over from BT sim only for 4 sim only (no contract) for my family. It appears after transfering over I am now on a 24 month contract? At no time was I advised of this at the time BT insisted I had to transfer from a BT sim only card. I think I have grounds for an official complaint to telecoms ombudsman.

@wadderspaul : SIM-Only is a contract, a SIM-Only contract. As you started a new contract with EE you serve the full term regardless of where you were with your BT contract.

Unless youmean you had a PAYG SIM?

I think you have not answered my query, I was not advised that this was a 24 month contract, which is mis-selling.
