Just tried to upgrade inshore after traipsing all the way into the town to be told there was an issue with my BAN spend so I cant upfmgrade til next week.
Does anyone have any idea what it means and why I couldn't upgrade today?

The BAN spend is related to the amount that each customer is able to spend on the account in terms of plans and add-ons.
If you give our billing guides a call, they'll be able to check the account to see what is happening with your spend.

Literally happened to me. The guy on the phone told me that its based on earnings a limit had been put on. Makes no sense to me at all I've never missed a payment, credit its really good and my earnings are higher than when I first had an account with EE. I was advised to buy a phone on finance elsewhere and then take out a sim only plan with EE. Seriously not impressed and considering leaving and I've been with them for years. Did you ever get yours sorted?
