Hi all, I've had a huge issue today. A bill for over £200, services were billed from both B Sony and Apple.
EE take no responsibility, though they have been helpful to a point. I first called Sony, they have informed me that they are dealing with hundreds of these fraudulent payments every day!
They also take no responsibility... however, they have admitted that these issues begin with their payment provider Boku 08081202341, this number is fairly redundant as they don't take calls so I've had to raise a ticket with support via email. Im inclined to think that Boku are fully aware of the issues from how their forms are phrased. Unfortunately as an Indian company I fear policies don't hold much protection for customers.
I spoke with Apple after this and they've submitted a refund already!
Im writing this because I can see that many of you have had or are still having these fraudulent issues especially with Sony playstation and are getting no luck with their call centers or EE.

We had this come up today.. daughter phone bill had 4x £39.99 on 6 Aug. We were in Cornwall, land of no signal. She received a text with no links. I have checked her Apple account.. no information. She doesn’t have a PlayStation account. ee tried to say wasn’t there problem. I called back with facts, raised complaints was the said they would email Boko who took payments. This information was given previously. I had texts from Ee saying-

as information. I have also requested transcripts of today’s conversations. Very disappointed

@Whitekaren it’s not an EE issue they are not billing you it’s Boko that have billed you and that payment method was via with the number that was associated to that Boko bill. You need to take it up with Boko. EE have only passed the bill over to the account for payment.

How did you get your money back.
My daughter had 4 payments taken out within minutes if each other total of £145 pounds. I've email sony and beko this evening will be ringing up sony tomorrow
What else do I need to do. My daughter doesn't have apple account or Playstation.
I do think ee should stop all these payments becuse they knew its fraud

I don't have a account with apple or sony Playstation
I've contacted Sony by email will ring them up tomorrow. Do I also email or ring up apple
EE said on my bill it just says sony.
