Accidentally paid my bill twice

Sam_47

I was having the usual hassle of trying to pay my bill which is already ridiculous. After receiving errors and going round in circles, I found account details to send money directly. I paid through nationwide and then 30 mins later I got an apple wallet notification saying I paid again as one of my earlier payment attempts went through (two payments show on my statement). It is the next day and it doesn’t show on my EE balance, they have not acknowledged in any way that I have paid extra. I can’t find any way to contact EE directly without waiting in a queue on the phone. I’m so sick of how much effort simple things take to do with this company.

@Sam_47   Setup a DD and it’s done automatically.    Or can make payments via THIS

EE will not acknowledge you’ve paid extra it’ll just sit in your account for the next bill.  Basically you’ve added credit to the account.     How ever you decide to contact EE you’ll have to wait till an agent is free to help you.  You’re no more of a priority than the customer who called before you.

Hi @Sam_47

You'll need to speak to EE CS on 150 if you want a refund.

Alternatively the extra payment will be added as credit to your bill which means you might be in credit next month as @Chris_B said.

Thanks
