Apparently there is a technical issue with roaming charges which EE is working on resolving. I was charged double the expected roaming fees in May (on my Jun bill). I contacted customer services and was promised this would be corrected on my next bill. It wasn’t. I contacted them again and was told it was an ongoing problem and would be refunded within 7-15 working days. Breathtaking lack of customer communication here…

Both my wife and I have had the same issue and the same lack of refund. Complaint raised today, also gone to my bank with a direct debit claim for the incorrect amount charged. Absolute shysters.
