Hi,
I've done an anytime upgrade with EE, and am sending my old phone back to them in the returns pack. It says in the "Trade in Posting Tips," that I only need to send the device. But I could have sworn that i need to return the phone in the box, with the charging cable that came with it.
So I'm just seeking some clarification on this.
Thanks

@Vasilliy Just the device will do. But putting it the box makes sure the device is more protected. You don’t need to send anything else.

Thank you for your reply Chris,
I’ll pop it in the box, like you say, for extra protection and hold on to the charging cable.

@Vasilliy Also make sure you have proof of postage. Even if that means you pay a little extra yourself. The returns that’s provided will be the cheapest rate going.

Hi - did you use the box your new phone came in to send your old phone back? I have done upgrade anytime but received no instructions, return label etc. I was told on website chat by someone at EE tonight that I should wait for a silver bag, but I'm not confident they understood. How did you know where to send it?

Welcome to the community.
The trade-in bag with the return address on it would usually follow within 7 days of your new phone arriving.
When did you get the new phone?
