Account query / leaving indecision

Apologies, I may have posted in the wrong section.

I've been with EE many years but having recently noticed I'm paying more and more for less and less I'm deciding on whether or not to leave.

I have a sim only contact that's now just finished and can't help but think I'm paying3 times as much as other providers. I rang to discuss leaving but was ( as usual) semi talked round into staying with the offer of paying for netflix (rarely used) for free. The agent also said my account was 'flagged' .
Flagged for what reason? I haven't missed any bills in years. Why would a flag be on an account?

Am I thinking the grass is greener with other providers and am I missing something?

 Any input appreciated.

Much depends on what your purchasing criteria are. If cost is your primary factor, there are far cheaper providers but they are often MVNO "piggyback" and may not offer the same service levels.

EE pride themselves on network quality and coverage levels, something other operators can't always compete with. That does come with some price implications.

All that said, I'm not sure how you can be "paying more" but perceive that you're "getting less". Your allowances would stay the same for the lifetime of your plan, costs would only go up by "inflation plus 3.9%" each year.

@Bigkeeko   Why not look to see what sim only deals are available right now.   You’ll get a cheaper tariff probably than what you’re paying right now.       Deals are there is you look.     If just had a quick look at there’s a deal for 10Gb of data for £13 and that’s reduced from £22 and that’s for the whole 24 months of the contract.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

That seems very fair to be honest. The agent I spoke to asked if I was with BT  but it was EE that suggested to install BT as a landline.

Still not sure why I'm flagged. Like I said, never missed a bill. Can only assume it's because my contract finished last week.
