I have a direct debit, this has never happened before and I had enough money in my account ive been charged with a £10 administration fee. It was paid 4 days later than usual but I never manually pay it, it comes out DD

Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know what's going on here? I'll call EE tomorrow but ive been with EE for almost 10 years and never had this happen before. Never missed a payment or had a late payment. Thanks in advance

Hi @annabelle90,

Welcome to the EE Community

The administration charge should not relate to a late payment or anything, from what you say you paid on time anyway but the late payment fee is £7.68 and a failed direct debit charge if it bounces twice is £5, so neither would result in a £10 charge.

The charge will be for something different but if it only shows administration charge on the PDF of your bill and its nothing you were expecting, like any upfront cost for an order or anything like that, then it will be best to speak to our team tomorrow and they should be able to explain what it is.
