I’m a BT customer and use their broadband. However, I’m concerned about post January ‘27. Getting Full Fibre is a no go due to connection logistics. What’s going to happen re our access to broadband should we not have made the switch to Full Fibre?

@RGC3 : You'll be put on something called Single order Generic Ethernet Access (SoGEA). It’s a replacement for Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC). It uses existing copper phone lines, as yours does now, but does not require an active phone service. It runs with the same speeds as FTTC. You may already be on it.
Do you currently have an active landline?
What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker, not the Postcode Checker.

Yes, I do have an active landline. The reason for my enquiry is that a neighbour has the same logistical problem re connection to full fibre. He was given an ‘EE 5G mini hub which he uses for everything. What advantage would I have with the mini hub?

Not a lot! Mobile signals are rather unreliable & variable. Fixed BB is usually rock solid.
When you are moved to SoGEA for Jan. '27 your landline would go Digital Voice (DV) if you still want it.

@RGC3 What is it that you have currently on your BT Package, take a look at that.

SOGEA is still FTCC, it just does not have a PSTN Voice component. Digital Voice is the BT/EE Brand name for their VOIP service, but you are free to select your own VOIP supplier with SOGE or Full Fibre.

@Mustrum : Yes, I know but everything on BT seems to speak as if it's diff. e.g.:
Simplify with Single order Generic Ethernet Access
Say hello to Single order Generic Ethernet Access (SoGEA). It’s a replacement for Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC) orders
