unable to link BB as the app says by account number is invalid

I have recently moved from BT. I am now using an EE smart hub. my bank shows EE has taken approx twice my agreed monthly charge for BB so I tried to view my bill. Apparently the only way to do this is on the app. I have attempted to link BB to my account on the app. initially it accepted the account number and the following page said account verified but they require further info. upon clicking 'Next' button I got error page . "Code" :"500". "message" :"QuotaViolation".

on my second attempt using ee.co.uk , under My EE Home Broadband. I had a page showing Add your home BBto EE and a form to fill in. I entered my details but it comes back with a "Please enter a valid account number"

How can I link?how can I view my bill?
