@jontee1937  you pay pro rata so the service went live before you returned anything so the bill is generated for you to pay in advance. You then cancel within the cooling off period but the bill is already generated. You pay it and get refunded or you call customer support and request the payment to be cancelled as you used the 14 day cooling off period.   

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Not totally clear what you're asking but if you did cancel within the 14 days you're still liable to pay for time the services are active & if charged in advance are maybe due a final bill with a refund
