Once you "Create a new rule" & enter the values for it did you press the "+" to the R of it to make it active before you Saved it?

@tc104   which router and broadband service do you have?

Have you tried just sticking with the BT Router?

1 gig fibre and the ee router I could go back to the bt router if necessary good job, haven't posted it back yet  given this should jus work it would be annoying to go back to it.

I've put the device I'm forwarding to into the DMZ which is far from ideal but does the trick. for using the service I want to use.

@tc104   EE do a number of routers, but presumably you mean the Smart Hub Plus?

Are you trying to make the changes via the App or the Web interface?

brilliant Ididn't realise you had to press the + I don't find the interface very initiative but that has done the trick and my service is working as expected thank you 🙂
