Not with your router, you're not! It's only when you login to your EE a/c.

@Linzi_H @Christopher_G Although no longer an EE direct customer i still use the Forum and now continually getting the OTP passcode for every logon to the Forum, bit off a pain that so can you stop it at your end, there is a requested EE CS number to call so will do it if that has to be the method?

Hi @JimM11

Thanks so much for the feedback.

I've queried this with the relevant team, and they've stated that when logging into the EE Community, you may be required to enter a passcode. Two-factor authentication can't be turned off once it's already activated. If users are regular, they might not see it as much.

You could try adding a Passkey to make it a little easier to log in.

@Linzi_H Have been on the Forum since Mar 2024, have NEVER requested 2FA in the slightest so this is all wrong in so many levels, I never Activated ANY 2FA in the slightest and my laptop does not need or require any Passkey is about as good as a chocolate fireguard as it does not use or need!

@XRaySpeX Are you still being requested OTP's on your Forum logon's or has it been corrected for you now?

Since experiencing a login outage last night both my passkey and OTP have been requested each time I have tried to log in to the forum.

@Matt_124 All good fun at the end off the day?

Thanks for the reply, i never did or asked for 2FA, but did do the passcode add on my laptop not that i should need too, anyway as suspected just adds another layer to the logon screen, so once EE get it sorted out will be removing that!
