help ee hub set up via app not working

i have currently upgraded from ee full fibre smart wifi to ee smart hub pro. it goes live fri and had my equipment delivered today. i tried setting hub up with ee home app as recommended. but when i use app with camera at back of new hub it dont recognise the hub. im not sure if i need to wait til fri but i can connect manually with password etc but the app dont.
just wondered if anyone knew or had same problem

The EE Home app doesn't work with the EE SH Plus/Pro. It is intended for the white EE Smart Router. You need the EE App.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

When I tried the new app I got the same problem. I couldn't get it to work either neither on scanning nor putting the details in directly - If you do manage to get it working please do let me know how?

i know what you mean the app shows new hub and follow instructions but when you click that aqua colour showing it scans for the hub but dont do anything but searching
