@robbyj As long as you have Full Fibre then the EE Pro will be ok connection wise as that is all it supports, getting second hand has been reported by various user's connected and working, but that is all up to you what you wish to do!

@robbyj   presumable you mean the EE Smart Hub Pro?

What speed Full Fibre do you have, and how many WiFi 7 devices do you have?

From your previous posts I suspect you will be wasting your money and will end up having more issues to sort out.

If you mean the WiFi7 on the Smart Hub Pro, I would not recommend it as there seem to be many issues with the WiFi and extenders at the moment. Hopefully these will be fixed with a future firmware update.

@tnj The product was only released Sept 2024, does take a long while to get all the potential issues sorted!

@robbyj    if you are on the max speed then EE should have provided you with the Smart Hub Pro - have you asked them for one or why they have not provided one?

What is the model of Hub you have now? In an old post you had a Smart Hub 2023 (SW20). Has that been replaced.

Not sure about better coverage, but you should get faster speeds if you have WiFi6 or 7 and if any ethernet devices have 2.5Gb ports.

@robbyj Routers are very much like for like and some just a little better than others, so do not expect that going to a wi-fi7 hub is a magic pill and you will get wi-fi everywhere, if anything you have to seriously contend with the 6Ghz band that you have never had to deal with in the past, no way you are getting 1.6Gb/s speeds out of a EE Smarthub (2023) or the Smarthub+.
