Good morning Everyone!
I wish to cancel my broadband.
I try to call customer service but it is not available.
Why can't I cancel online?

I am having this same issue. I'm getting fibre so not switching my broadband, I need to cancel and the phoneline doesn't even have an option to wait on hold, it just hangs up on you. I will write to them today having seen the post above, but I'm not particularly confident that it's going to get sorted any time soon.

@baker926 : Ah, OK, that's exempt from the OFCOM's GPL Process but new ISP should make it as smooth as poss.
You could write to EE as per post 5.

@lizziehicks33 anyone would think they are trying their hardest to stop us from cancelling. Surely it should be as easy as clicking "cancel" in your account online.
Having to write a letter in 2020 is comical when everything else is going paperless.

I am having the same problem. EE, like a lot of big companies make it very easy to set up accounts but extremely difficult to terminate a contract. So annoying.
