Wifi6 + modem AiO

Hi,

I'm looking to change from having a wifi/router box and separate modem to having a combined modem/wifi router all in one device.

I'm on EE Fibre Max 300 which I *think* is g.fast for the modem part and would like to switch up to wifi6.

Can anyone recommend the Vigor 2866ax or indeed any other particular models? Would this model work with EE?

TIA

Dac

Yes, the  Vigor 2866ax incorporates a G.Fast modem & provides WiFi6. Therefore it will work on any EE BB product.

Hero, thank you 🙂

I did consider the somewhat cheaper ASUS DSL-AC88U but wifi6 is needed for some specific use cases (VR).

Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & it is now sorted.

Yes, the ASUS DSL-AC88U would give you G.Fast but not WiFi6. There aren't many WiFi6 modem routers around.
