Hi @denton2021 The BT Group have three "Brands" that sell similar products to the public, BT Retail, EE and Plusnet. They operate independently of each other, and at times one Brand will have better offer than the other.
As with most service offerings these days, it is worth shopping around when you reach the end of any contract to avoid automatically going on to a non discounted rate.
From a personal point of view, for my Broadband contract, I have found that EE offer competitive re-contract rates - if you ask.

EE are part of the BT Group, and there are likely promotions to encourage BT Mobile (and probably PlusNet mobile) customers across to EE plans.

Thank you to everyone replying to my messages.
If I change broadband supplier to EE from BT, can i still keep my landline number, and if I get breakdown on line, who do i consult with, do BT still own the telephone line?.
Thank you

@denton2021 no need to start another thread, you could just reply to your other one. Keeps things in one place.
Providing you have not already gone to BT Digital Voice, and you are going for a like for like service, then EE will provide your landline and Broadband, and if things go wrong or you have any questions, your contract will be with EE, so you would go to them.

@denton2021 it’s possible to retain the number and you will contact EE as they would be your line provider and they will contact open reach to deal with the issue just like BT would contact open reach to deal with the issue. You’ll have nothing to do with. BT is you changed to EE so you don’t call them for line issue.

@denton2021 : BT Group plan that EE will eventually take over all BT Consumer custs as its main consumer BB & phone provider.
