Wifi5 routers being sent out instead of wifi6

I am sure BT think I am stupid (its not really EE because BT cannot keep out of the process).  All the ee.co.uk website information states you will get a smart hub plus. (Sh31b) But i have just received a re-boxed bt smart hub 2 router (sh20a).

Intetestingly BT customers transferring to ee get sent to a site which is not the same as new customers which have different deals and this website does state that only the 900 service gets wifi 6.  Why do we have to put up with these scam artist.

If you haven't guessed I am losing my **** with the pair of them.

@craigsbits Are you a new EE customer, or BT - EE transfer, also is it a BT or EE version of the smart hub 2, the Smarthub+ has a few teething problems at present, so you may be thankful to have the older one just now.

I made the original mistake as a bt to ee transfer.  Then i left bt and went to ee as a new customer.  Took 2 weeks new dd new account.  But still got the wifi5 router.  This was just a rant to give others a heads up how bt/ee play ball, same price (or higher) for older kit.

Badged up as sh20a but its sh2
