Wifi extender 6

I have an EE smarthub 6 and 2 extenders. One extender sits next to my TV but the TV connects itself to the other extender a floor above and the other side of the house. The Humax box connected to the TV uses the nearest extender, but not the TV itself.  Any ideas why this should be and what can I do to get the TV to connect to the nearest extender?

@CWWatkins   Don’t put the extender next to the TV for a start.  It’s not the ideal location for it,  in fact it’s one of the worst locations to put it as the TV gives of RF and that affects WiFi signals .     You’ve also proven you don’t need that extender in your. Network setup

Hi @CWWatkins

It seems you don't need two extenders from your post.

Too many conflicting WiFi signals have the opposite effect and degrade your network.

Thanks
