How do I go to admin settings and change so printer connects wifi please?

Yes when I first tried to connect to router it listed ee router which I clicked on and then entered password after which it failed to connect.

I have found an option on printer to connect to router with wps or a code. I tried wps button but couldn't get to router wps in the 2 mins. So I pressed option to put code on laptop which I can do in front of printer but having got a code on the printer cannot find anywhere in hub manager to enter code which apparently should be in the wireless menu. Switch to ee bt said it'll be cheaper they said! Why do I believe what I'm told??

@lizbos - is there anybody who can help you co-ordinate the WPS pairing? The hub won't support the PIN entry method.
Failing that, a few other things you can try: -
Option 1 - Trigger WPS from the Hub Manager
- There is an alternative way to trigger WPS on the hub without having to physically press the button on the casing.
- Access the Hub Manager at http://192.168.1.254 using a machine that you can take into the room where the printer is.
- Navigate to Advanced > Wireless (you will probably have to enter the hub admin password from the removable settings card).
- You should see a WPS web browser button somewhere, which you can click to start WPS on the hub.
- Navigate through the printer menus to initiate WPS button press (does this help?) and then click the WPS button in your web browser.
Option 2 - Temporarily disable 5GHz Wi-FI
- Access Hub Manager at http://192.168.1.254
- Navigate to Advanced > Wireless.
- Here you will find a couple of toggles for the 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi. Switch the 5GHz one off and save the settings.
- Wait 5 mins for everything to settle.
- Try connecting the printer again by manually entering the password i.e. *not* using WPS.
- If the printer connects, then repeat above steps to re-enable the 5GHz Wi-Fi.
- Cross your fingers that things stay connected.
Option 3 - Change Wi-Fi mode
- Access Hub Manager at http://192.168.1.254
- Navigate to Advanced > Wireless.
- Look for a 'Wi-Fi Mode' selector (this may not be present depending on your router software version).
- If it's there, try changing to 'Wi-Fi 6 Compatibility' or 'Wi-Fi 5' mode and save the changes.
- Wait 5 mins for everything to settle.
- Try connecting the printer again by manually entering the password i.e. *not* using WPS.
Option 4 - Use Compatible WiFi
- Access Hub Manager at http://192.168.1.254
- Navigate to Advanced > Wireless.
- Look for a 'Compatible Wi-Fi' tab/section (this may not be present depending on your router software version).
- Under Compatible Wi-Fi, enable the feature and choose a network name and password that is different to your main Wi-Fi details.
- Save the changes and wait 5 mins or so for everything to settle.
- Try connecting the printer to the new Wi-Fi network you have just created by manually entering the password i.e. *not* using WPS.

@bobpullen : I take it that 'Compatible Wi-Fi' is not the same as Wireless mode = "WiFi6 Compatibility". As such I don't have a tab/section for it on my SH+ (SH31B) with r1.35.0-R-1138091-PROD-83002 f/ware. Which models & f/ware would have it?

@XRaySpeX - it's on the Smart Hub Pro out of the box and has made its way to the 2.x firmware that some have received on their Smart Hub Plus (both models). Looks to replace the Wireless Mode option.

Thanks everyone who has tried to help me. I hate to admit defeat but having spent far too much time on it that I should have been spending on other things I'm gonna wait til next week when our local 'man who can' returns from. Christmas break and hopefully will come and sort it out! I have learnt a lot about using the hub tho.
