Ordered the 1.6gb package with the new wifi 7 hub and was really excited to get it up on running which was due on the 30th of September. My equipment arrived today only to find out it was the older smart hub, rang up to tell them they had sent me the wrong router.. after speaking to many advisers and getting slightly frustrated I was told my order had been cancelled because I couldn't have the 1.6gb wifi 7 package in my area. Engineers need to install something underground apparently.. was extremely disappointed to say the least.. so now having to stick with the 900mbps package till they do the work which could be months!!! 😞

@Michael913 did you order Digital Voice or EE TV at the same time?
Can you post the results from the BTW DSL checker below, this should say what is available in your area,. Use the address checker if you do not have a phone number, and post the results using a desktop, not mobile version as that cuts off much of the information.

@Michael913 The wifi 7 is nothing to do with your heading. Availability of the 1.6Gb/s to the premises is determined by OR/EE if for sale, Router/Extender is available as a purchased addon if customer wishes on certain FTTP packages. It's more than likely a required Exchange upgrade, then associated upgrade of the ONT at the premises to suit. Post your BTW but more than likely 1000/220 max.

@Mustrum : As far as I know the BTW DSL checker will not show 1.6 Gig FTTP availability but only up to 1 Gig. Do you know differently? I understand this is cuz 1.6 Gig is being sourced directly from OR, not thro' BTw.
