WiFi network query

I have an EE smart hub plus. The hub manager indicates that 2.4 and 5 GHz networks are on. However, all devices are connected to 2.4GHz network - is that correct?

Could be! Devices connect to whatever they find is the appropriate band. 2.4GHz band has greater reach & so more distant devices tend to connect to it.

@Johno777 You may also find that devices will stay latched to the 2.4Ghz band as they like it a lot better, and it is good depending on the device for a reasonable speed also. Release and re-connect can be hit and miss, but say for instance your mobile phone, switch off the wireless wi-fi connection, wait a good minute or so, get close to your Router within about 6' then phone wireless back on, have a look on the web manager at all times, you may have to refresh the page to update as you are going along with all off this, then see if your mobile has managed to connect on the 5Ghz band.

The two Router and Device when the go at each other, normally devices win hands down!
