@Dawn2204 : If it is a neighbourhood issue, you could consult Check service in your area  to see if any faults are being attended to in your local area. You may also Report a Problem there.

Have you reported your problem with your BB to EE? They can't do anything about it until you do. Text HELP to 66033 to get EE to test the line & see what needs doing.

What is the name of the EE BB plan are you on including its speed? Which EE router & WiFi extenders, if any, do you have (read label or post a pix)?

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

@Dawn2204 How many lights, when you say the white box for openreach, do you have a Full Fibre connection?

Hi yes I do, it is just the one light, the PORT light keeps flashing green,
there are 2 other lights that are on GREEN, the LAN light is off.
Thanks

Generally the LEDs on OR ONTs are Power, PON, LAN, and LOS/Alarm. The LAN light ought to be lit if connected to the router with occasional flashes as data is transferred. The PON (when steady green) reflects whether the ONT is correctly connected to a functional external fibre network.

@Dawn2204 Just sounds like you have one off the older ONT's supplied by OR so you may have had it in the home for sometime, the Port is the lan connection back to the WAN of the EE hub, flashing would be the data back and forth.

What is the Hub light doing for you, also see the link to the older ONT's from BT below. There did seem to be some kind of potential affected EE issue last night as a good few postings where going on about the service, not sure if you got caught up in that also....
