WiFi 7 - Beware of costs

So I was on WiFi 6 900mb package.  I saw on the EE website that I could upgrade to WiFi 7 for an additional £10 per month so I ordered it and the equipment arrived and it is so much better

However my monthly bill has arrived and they have charged me an extra £182.90. I called them and they said that it was early contract exit charges.

There was no message or email or information on the website detailing that I would incur termination charges for going out of contract because moving into Wi-Fi 7is an upgrade and not a down grade or exit from my current contract.

Anyway  I’ve been on the phone to them and they’ve done some investigation and they’re going to credit them the money back to me but I thought I’d put this out there just to say be careful if you’re thinking of going to Wi-Fi seven
