@Jersey3 : Have you connected the printer to your router, either by WPS or by supplying route's SSID & pwd to it? Even before you touch the iPad.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

How do I add SSID and password, never had to do this when set up this WI-FI printer to my BT router, just followed the canon app when I unboxed the printer etc etc.

@Jersey3   you need to start again with the Cannon app and connect the printer to the new EE network, like you did when you set it up with the BT Router.

Manual below to remind you.

https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/All/TS3500%20series/EN/NTR/faq_003.html

Somehow managed to recognise the printer on the network, printed document OK when switching off WIFI, when print job finished enabled WI-FI OK.
