My wi-fi has a message underneath it saying weak security, It’s a bright box 2 wireless router?

This warning comes up when you use WPA/WPA2 TKIP standard, I think - See if you can change it to WPA3/WPA2 Mixed security - this will get rid of the message on devices that support WPA3, like iPhone 11 and up (previous models may support it)

Set its WiFi security to:
Security |
WPA
|
---|
WPA Mode |
WPA2
|
---|---|
Cipher Suite |
AES
|
for both the 2.4 & 5 GHz bands. That is sufficiently strong & should satisfy Apple!
@Kirigaya_Kazuto : The Brightbox does not support WPA3, nor do any of the EE routers nor most, if any, ISP routers.

@SG971 It’s Apples iOS way of saying there is a stronger security method that can be used if your router supports it. It’s accurate in what it says but it doesn’t mean your security is compromised.

Ah, thank you @XRaySpeX I was not aware that the EE's Brightbox did not support WPA3
