When to connect new Hub?

Hi

I just receive my new Hub from EE. My new contract will start from 8 days.

Should I connect my new Huba already or just waiting for "activation" date?

Strictly you should wait until your EE BB goes live but if your current BB is compatible you could do it now. You may need to configure your current BB's PPPoE Username & pwd.

Who is your current ISP & what type of BB do you have with them?

Hi

Thanks for reply.

My current ISP is also EE.
The current contract will expire in a few days. I have taken on a new contract with EE, and they will send me a new Hub Plus.
I am therefore wondering whether to connect it already or wait until the activation day.
I am currently using my own Tp-Link router.

Which EE BB plan do you currently have? What router did EE send you for it before you replaced it by the TP-Link?

Same plan as before.

I don't remember what router/hub it was, because it was 5 years ago. I've been using my TP-Link router for 4 years anyway.

How am I to know that? Can't you just tell me?

OK, let's cut the cackle! In all probability you could connect the SH+ now.
